I'm just a guy trying to get by the best I can. I use StumbleUpon 'cuz...well... it gives me lots of interesting stuff to look through. I'm a bit of a knowledge-hound (not information, mind you, but knowledge), so it suits me in that I now have a formidable collection of website bookmarks ranging from flash games to lifehack.org to freeware repositories to sites that contain thorough, thoughtful information on various techniques for resisting persuasion.
Both mental stimulation and mental vacationing are possible in a way they never before were.
I'm only just now finding that Stumbleupon works as a replacement social life, as well, with its community and groups :D So I'm starting to explore new realms, here

The Department of Homeland Security is working out a new technology that will supposedly identify people who could be future terrorists, regardless of whether or not they have any record or affiliations, by using biometric technology to determine 'hostile intent'. Those determined to have 'hostile intent' get pulled aside by security officers for an interview

Legal battle between accuracy of a trained policeman's use of the radar gun, and the reliability of GPS tracking information which completely contradicts the cop's judgment? Interesting.... Interesting indeed.

This is really interesting... This is a real hope for people who've either been told, or been telling themselves, all along that they can't do it, or that they are unable to surpass the lower expectations others have of them. I intend to show this to a few people who I think could benefit from the message

This is awesome. A great look at why one should opt for XP over Windows Virus-- Vista, rather.

Its interesting to help other people make their words, guide them towards something else, or scrabble off their words. Its annoying when people lettermonger, though. Just my opinion, but I feel that kinda kills the point, just so they can say "HA I GOT ALL THE LETTERZ!!"

What the next gen says they want... It's kind of depressing to read... Look at the contrast between the adults saying that kids just want the latest gadgets, and the kids posting about peace, political stability, and working against issues that should concern us globally
